some friends and i decided to have a little informal photo contest. the original intention was to limit the submissions to it from a 50mm prime lens, but then other friends with point-and-shoot cameras wanted in too. no problem, we just asked that they not change the zoom from whatever the camera starts withs once you turn it on. i submetted 10 photos, these are the first 3.

rose theatre in Omaha. what can i say? i was feeling patriotic that day. and i like the way the roof line looks more like a break-away russian republic than american.
