so i picked up a new lens. It's a (prime) Canon 35mm 1.4L, and although i didn't have long to play, i did get a chance to try it out. I'm quite impressed with it. Here's a couple shots from it.
So i ventured all the way to Taiwan for spring break. i ended up taking a ton of pictures (you really don't want to know how many). which means i've ample supply of material to work on and get posted. so here's the first few. more to follow.
i was up about near the Omaha and Winnebago reservations when we saw a couple of bald eagles. luckily for me, i had my telephoto lens, and was able to take a few shots as it flew around. i'm not usually much into nature photography, but after looking at the eagle in flight, i might try my hand at it again.
